Edmund Tressach, Captain of the Elves, and Cygnus the Swan
Prince Edmund is heir to the Greenwood Kingdom. He is a highly skilled and ferocious warrior; probably the best in all the armies of the elves. His garments change colour to match his surroundings so that he is camouflaged at all times. Also, he can change his size and stature.
This illustration took 7 hours and it measures 270mm x 270mm.
The Golden Elf turned to Edmund and spoke aloud, so that all present could hear his words.
"Pick up the sword and sheath it, my lord. You are the only one who can wield it. It has no other master or mistress. The blade is the most deadly ever forged, and it was forged by Fire, Water, Air and Earth. This sword has the power to slay swamp ghouls without the need of white fire and, if it is thrust into the black sorcerer, Durg-Baulder......he will die."
